THIRD ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL AMATEUR SOCCER TOURNAMENT The Club Team Challenge for the Tiffany Trophy Cup

Tournament Dates: December 5 - 7, 2008

Applications are now being accepted for club teams of U15 Boys according to the eligibility rules for the teams’ league for the Fall Season -- for United States and Canada teams, players with birthdays on or after August 1, 1993 and for players from Europe with birthdays on or after January 1, 1993.

REGISTRATION DEADLINE: Applications must be RECEIVED by International Amateur Sports Inc. on or before November 5, 2008.

PAYMENT DEADLINE: For USA teams, the Application Fee must be submitted with the application.  For all other teams, the Application Fee must be submitted by wire transfer within five days after Tournament Administration sends confirmation of team acceptance and wire transfer instructions.

APPLICATION FEE:
  • US$400.00 If the complete Application Is Received by 15 October 2008.
  • US$500.00 If the complete Application is Received after 15 October 2008.
  • A Participation Deposit of US$300.00 is required from all teams that are based more than 100 miles from Washington, DC and that do not arrange lodging through Tournament Administration.  By January 19, 2009, Participation Deposits will by refunded to all teams that complete all their Tournament games

ENCLOSURES: In one envelope, you must submit by the deadline:

  1. Team Application (download)
  2. For USA teams, a check or money order for the full Application Fee payable to International Amateur Soccer Tournament.  An application will not be considered complete without payment. For non-USA teams, the Application Fee must be transferred by wire within five days after Tournament Administration sends confirmation of team acceptance and wire transfer instructions. If your team is accepted, the fee is non-refundable.  If your team is accepted and later withdraws, the fee is non-refundable and sanctions may be placed against your team for participation in future tournaments.  Should your team not be accepted, the Application Fee and Participation Deposit will be returned promptly with notification of that decision.
  3. For USA teams, the Participation Deposit for all teams that are based more than 100 miles from Washington, DC and that do not arrange lodging through Tournament Administration--by check or money order payable to International Amateur Soccer Tournament.  For non-USA teams, the Participation Desposit must be transferred by wire within five days after Tournament Administration sends confirmation of team acceptance and wire transfer instructions.  An application will not be considered complete without payment of the Participation Deposit, if applicable.  If your team is accepted, the Participation Deposit is non-refundable.  If your team is accepted and later withdraws, the fee is non-refundable and sanctions may be placed against your team for participation in future tournaments.  Should your team not be accepted, the Application Fee and Participation Deposit will be returned promptly with notification of that decision.

  6. Letter from your Team’s State/Province/League authorizing participation in the Tournament -- except United States Youth Soccer teams within Region 1, but this exception does not apply to Connecticut Junior Soccer Association and New Jersey Youth Soccer Association teams.
  7. Copies of the Team’s official player passes
  8. Team roster with player uniform numbers
  9. For non-USA teams, copies of the picture/issue information pages of the players’ and coaches’ passports

International Amateur Sports Inc. is not able to accept deliveries that require a signature—for example, registered or certified Post Office mail and courier deliveries like FedEx (Federal Express), DHL Courier and UPS (Untied Parcel Service).

ACCEPTANCE:Acceptance letters will be emailed promptly after receipt of completed Applications with required payments.
